As time goes on, Microsoft will continue to make and update their Windows operating systems. As technology keeps developing, new and supposedly improved operating systems will be released. When that happens, software and games get hit hard because they usually aren't compatible with the new operating system.
Over the summer I read a lot about how people were having trouble with operating Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords with Windows Vista. When it came time for me to get a new computer, I was dead set against getting Windows Vista because I didn't want to face the troubles many people were having and since I'm running KotorFiles, it's best that I have both of my Knights of the Old Republic games in good working order.
Here's a patch that will help you play Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords on Windows Vista. Since I'm still running Windows XP, I have no way to test this out. It's very important to read the readme file on how to use this. Enjoy the patch!
